$20 Liberty Gold Coins

The Liberty series of U.S. gold coins were first minted before the Civil War. These highly prized, seldom seen, rare gold pieces were first authorized by an Act of Congress in 1834.

Large Solid Gold Coins

In 1849, the year of the California Gold Rush, $20 Liberty coins were minted by the U.S. Mint and used as circulating coinage. They were the largest minted gold coins of their time, measuring in at about 1 ¼ inches in diameter, and containing .9675 troy ounces of pure gold.

Highly Prized by Coin Collectors

In 1933 all gold coins were recalled from U.S. citizens and millions were melted down and forever destroyed. Today, only a tiny fraction of the original mintage has survived in mint condition. For that reason, they are highly prized by collectors and investors for their beauty, historic value, and nearly one ounce pure gold content.

Classic Liberty Head Design

The bust of Miss Liberty adorns the face of each coin. The reverse design is a “Spread Eagle” with the inscription “In God We Trust.” $20 Liberty gold coins are Official Legal Tender issued by the U.S. Mint.

$20 Gold Liberty rare coins are a must for collectors and investors. Call now to enhance your collection with these beautiful, large gold coins!
